Our Desire For You

Everyone who comes through our doors is here because they have a goal. For each person, that goal is different. To be stronger, faster, more flexible, more ready for what life throws at them, physically and emotionally. Our desire is that you have the incredible support, expert training, and safe environment that CrossFit provides... so when you reach or exceed those goals, you'll be amazed at how far you've come.


What I have learned about myself is CrossFit has given me better results than traditional weightlifting or gyms were able to offer.

My advice is if you're looking for a workout that will push you both mentally and physically come give crossfit a try. You'll get the results you're looking for along with the guidance and support from other coaches/members that you'll never get going to the gym alone.

My reason for joining was I loved that the workouts were not only provided, but strategically planned for maximum results with safety/form as a top priority. I've never been a great athlete and the main reason I never did well at a traditional gym was that I just didn't even know what to do once I got there. I'd end up on the elliptical, hating every minute of it and not seeing any results. I love that I can show up and follow a plan that will show me results (and have shown me results) as long as I put in the effort!

I started doing CrossFit-based workouts at the Tribune Fitness Center back in 2009. During the summer of 2010, I did a Google search for CrossFit in Orland Park and found HOTSide located at Silver Lake County Club. I stopped in before one of the classes, signed a waiver, participated in one work out and asked about a 1 week pass. Shortly after, I joined and never looked back.
